Orient Express was a professional wrestling tag team featuring Pat Tanaka and Akio Sato. They were managed by Mr. Fuji and competed primarily in the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) from 1988 to 1991. The team was known for their quick, high-flying moves and their signature finisher, the "Orient Express" (a double-team version of the leapfrog body guillotine). The Orient Express had notable rivalries with teams like The Rockers and The British Bulldogs. They were also involved in a controversial storyline in which they claimed to have defeated the Legion of Doom for the WWF Tag Team Championships while using a masked substitute, but their claim was later invalidated. After their WWF run, Tanaka and Sato continued wrestling as a team in other promotions until the mid-2000s.
